Our first set of recipes will be from our Wellness Coach Danielle. She will be building simple, easy meals for parents in a hurry that need to take their meals with them; like shrimp fried rice, shrimp salad w/grapes, and chicken salad. She will also be making easy meals such as grilled chicken w/fresh vegetables and grilled talapia with grilled vegetables. These meals can be easily modifed to meet your Recommended Nutrition Guideline as outlined in your Wellness Program.

Quick Receipe from Danielle:
One of my favorite and easiest recipe that you can prepare in advance is shrimp salad. First I steam my shrimp, drain and peel then add mayo, sprinkle with old bay and parsely. Mix well. We can eat this in a hurry with some Ezekiel bread or rice. Just remember to not overdo the mayo (fat). You can easily add too much mayo. You can always substitute the shrimp for chicken. If you are in a hurry, Giant or Weis sells presteamed shrimp in the seafood section already steamed with old bay.
Always remember to weigh your food items. Remember, if you can't weigh it, then don't eat it .
